SPRING TIME HAS ARRIVED IN THE MADEIRA BEACH/ JOHN’S PASS AREA

Spring time still to this day remains one of my most favorite times of year to fish. While bottom fishing the Grouper, Snapper and Hogfish bite remains solid on all trips. Plus we starting seeing King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel migrate up and down the beachs and offshore areas as the bait fish fish funnel into the area. While targeting Groupers on our full day trips we use both dead and live baits. The Red Grouper bite just gets better as the waters warm from our winter lows. On the four and six hours trips we are targeting Hogfish, Snapper and King Mackerel. King Mackerel is a absolute blast to target with live as these fish push the 30lb range.
