in 1957 they named this west central shoreline St. Petersburg Beach but changed the the name to St. Pete Beachin in 1994. This laid-back beach was voted TripAdvisor’s No. 1 beach and rated the No. 5 beach in the world in 2012. The hotels that blanket the shoreline are some of the nicest in the Pinellas County area including Tradewinds (home of the Guy Harvey outpost and an aquarium made by the TV show Tanked), Don Caser, Alden, The Beachcomber, and the Sirata Grand Plaza which has a revolving restaurant located at the top of the hotel.

There are also no shortage of restaurants in the St. Pete Beach area such as RumFish, Rick’s Reef, Spinner’s Rooftop, Snapper’s Sea Grill, Crabby Bill’s and Caddy’s on the Beach just to list a few local favorites. Gulf Blvd is also lined with endless shops, ice cream shops and fun filled activities that are great for families. So come down to St. Pete Beach and enjoy the beautiful white sand beaches and hotels.
